Hall Sensors

Allegro's sensors are based on Hall-effect technology, which allows contactless sensing devoid of mechanical wear, sensing either an external magnet or a ferrous object. Capacitive Sensors

Capacitive sensors detect metal objects as well as nearly all other materials and are used in various applications including level and flow control.

· 12, 18 and 30 mm cylindrical capacitive sensors in stainless steel or plastic housings.
· Housings range from rectangular, 5-mm thin to 80 mm x 80 mm x 40 mm with 40 mm sensing range

Magnetic Field Sensors

Our magnetic field sensor selection consists of the M12 housing style for traditional magnetic detection applications. We additionally offer an IP67, non-contact piston position detection in steel cylinders, eliminating the need to drill mounting holes in cylinders.

Ultrasonic Sensors

Ultrasonic sensors present the ideal solution for non-contact position and distance measurement in all industrial areas where environmental conditions such as dust, smoke or steam may effect the sensors. Objects consisting of a variety of materials can be detected regardless of colour or shape to within millimetres.

The sensor uses very high frequencies that are outside of the human's audible range, as a data carrier. The time it takes the ultrasonic wave to pass between the sensor and the object is the value for the distance or the position.
